Following the success of the past eight years of new voices in our Staged Readings, TC Squared once again provided a platform for local playwrights to develop their work under the guidance of Dramaturg Marty Kingsbury.
THE NEXT STAGE on May 8 & 9, 2016, showcased some writers who have been working with us for several years. There were nine Ten-Minute scenes from each of their plays, with nine directors and thirty actors.
This was at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre.
TC Squared is also proud to announce that three playwrights who worked with us have been accepted into the Company One Play Lab.
Christina Chan is a Fellow, and Jescenia Figueroa and Mimi Augustin are both in the Play Lab Unit.
We would like to congratulate Jescenia Figueroa. Her work has also been published in an anthology of women’s writing.
